Yes, PTS Logistics is fully certified to handle hazardous materials. They are Hazmat certified, TSA/STA approved, and GDP (Good Distribution Practices) certified. These credentials ensure that PTS follows strict regulatory and safety protocols for transporting sensitive and dangerous goods.
Do you provide temperature-controlled transport?
Yes, PTS offers specialized cold chain logistics services for temperature-sensitive cargo. Our reefer units maintain specific temperature ranges of 2–8°C (refrigerated) and 15–25°C (ambient control), ideal for pharmaceuticals, perishable goods, and other regulated products. Note: They do not offer frozen cargo services.
What is the Certified Cargo Screening Facility (CCSF)?
PTS operates TSA-certified Certified Cargo Screening Facilities in both Chicago and Miami. These facilities handle secure cargo screening using explosive trace detection (ETD), X-ray, and K-9 screening. Our team specializes in difficult-to-screen cargo like steel drums, pails, buckets, hazmat materials, engines, and even animal feed — ensuring air cargo is compliant and cleared before airport handoff.
Can you handle bonded cargo?
Yes, PTS is a U.S. Customs Bonded Carrier and offers bonded warehousing services. This allows for the storage and handling of imported goods without immediate duty payment, giving shippers flexibility in customs processing and freight planning.

As an airport interline carrier, PTS provides air cargo transfer services between carriers and facilities within major airport zones. They operate at airports including Chicago O’Hare (ORD), Rockford International (RFD), and Miami International (MIA). This service ensures the seamless movement of freight between airline terminals, warehouses, and transportation providers.
Do you offer refrigerated transport?
Yes, PTS provides refrigerated (reefer) transport services for sensitive shipments such as pharmaceuticals and perishables. Our vehicles are equipped with state-of-the-art temperature monitoring systems and are operated by trained drivers who understand the critical nature of cold chain compliance.
